Right now I am in the public library in Rangeley, Maine where I have already used an hour and a half of my 30 minute time limit on the computer.  I wish I could write about all that has happened since the last post but it will have to wait.  We are still doing great, please check out our pics on facebook! I do have one quick, funny story to share:
We had hiked into Stratton, ME for the afternoon, just to do some laundry and re-supply.  As we were trying to get a ride out of town back to the trail, I called my mom.  I told her we were trying to hitch a ride and she said she would pray that someone would stop to pick us up.  Well, soon after I hung up with her someone did!  A guy in a red truck almost ran into Nola and I, but he stopped.  Robbie hopped in the back with Nola and I jumped in the front seat.  The driver looked at me, red faced, and slurred, "Hope ya don mind I binn drinkin."  I look over and saw an open beer can propped between his legs.  Of course I should have jumped out and called the cops on him, but I was too tired so I shrugged my shoulders.  Then as we were driving he made an unexpected turn down a small dirt road.  "Jest gotta run a quick errand.  Don't worry, yer not the first hikers I've brought here".  While I tried to figure out what he meant by this, he said, "I might as well tell ya, since I'll prolly never see you again, I'm spose ta drop off some weed with a guy that lives here."  The guy wasn't home so we kept going to the trail head.  We got to the trail still in one piece, but I do have to ask my mom to be more specific the next time she prays for us to get a ride!
